My own story began when I was asked to be the officiant for a friends wedding. I was honored and accepted without any further thoughts. Then I realized how much planning is actually needed to produce a beautiful wedding ceremony. I began my disjointed search to provide the best ceremony I could. It took time, commitment, and lots of reading. Once I had a general understanding of the many types of wedding ceremonies and how to become an officiant, I met with my happy couple to understand their needs and expectations.

After officiating their wedding, I realized that other couples and the friends/family members they ask to officiate their weddings, don’t immediately realize what is involved.
